Tangerang – As part of the 2025 Community Service Program (KKN), students from Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT) are actively participating in daily teaching activities at TK Bina Asih, located in Kelurahan Kenanga, Cipondoh District. The program runs from Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30 AM and ending at 11:30 AM.
Each day begins with morning exercise, followed by Dhuha prayer and breakfast together. The children then take part in a series of fun and educational activities such as drawing, coloring, puzzle games, as well as basic literacy and numeracy practice including reading, writing, and counting.
The atmosphere at TK Bina Asih is always lively and full of enthusiasm. The students show great interest in each activity, while the UMT student volunteers guide and assist them patiently and attentively.
“This experience is not only beneficial for the children, but also valuable for us as future educators. We are learning how to teach using appropriate approaches for early childhood education,” said one of the KKN participants.
The presence of UMT students at TK Bina Asih has enhanced the learning process and demonstrated the university’s commitment to supporting early childhood education. The program is expected to leave a lasting positive impact on both the children and those involved in their education.
